Millennium Medical Billing Inc. was founded in 1997 by Roxana Peeke and Mariana Marin. From very humble beginnings Millennium has become a premier billing company because of commitment and attitude. These values are the core of what we believe is necessary to thrive in business and in life.
Under the leadership of founder and CEO, Roxana Peeke, Millennium Medical Billing will continue to prosper for generations to come. After graduating from high school in New City, NY, Roxana attended Rutgers University in New Jersey. Following her work as a paralegal and earning masters degrees in business and criminal justice, Roxana saw the opportunity and had the vision to construct a billing company from the ground up. With her extensive background in clinical administration and proficiency in managed care Roxana has been praised by clients and local media for building one of the most efficient billing corporations today. Roxana is married to her husband Andy Peeke, and on June 29th 2006 they welcomed their daughter Chilli CoCo into this world.
Millennium's Chief Officer of Operations and co-founder Mariana Marin has worked in medical billing for over 30 years. She was responsible for the implementation and training of medical billing systems nationally for MediLabs and Horizon Labs. On top of that she was the Billing, Collections & Compliance Manager in the Department of Neurology at Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital. Mariana has a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Bucharest, Romania. She also attended graduate school at the University of Cluj, earning her Masters in Business Administration. She is an avid lover of dogs.
